We had a very sick Wolf and they got us in within a couple of hours....they did not make her wait in the waiting room and ushered directly back to the exam room. The vet was very good with her and diagnosed her correctly, giving us the needed meds and within 24 hours she was back on the road to being her old self. She is very old and we were not sure that she would go back home with us and they even checked her blood work thoroughly to make sure all her numbers were correct before releasing her
As a ten-plus year keeper of exotics, veterinary practice manager, and all around crazy animal lover I can say without a shadow of a doubt that THIS is the clinic to trust with your babies! Dr. Vicario and Dr. Ford have more experience with exotics than just about anyone in the DFW Metroplex, and do what is right for both you and your pet, EVERY time. It is absolutely worth the drive - if you want the best care possible, look no further!
My usual vet was closed today, and I had a pup emergency, ( my dog ripped a nail down to the quick, a horribly scary and painful experience). Called these folks up, they scheduled me an emergency appt for 2:40, but told me to come in right away and they would work me in. From the lady I talked to on the phone, to every amazing person at the desk and the techs when we got taken back...ACES!!! Dr. Stark was a great guy! My pup was home and resting by 3 o'clock! I had the most amazing experience yesterday with an amazing vet named Dr. Sara Hofer with Family Pet Clinic of NRH. She took time away from her clinic and made a house call for Gypsy Hall along with 2 technicians, Amanda & Dustin. They were so patient and calm and sweet with Gypsy. They didn't force her to be held down and even when she snapped at the Dr., she simply went slower and remained calm. Gypsy had to have some blood drawn and a few skin scrapes. My dog, a Jack Russell Terrier, loved this place instantly and took to the staff as if they were her owners. My dog loves them so I do too.
The staff is great and very polite. We take our elderly dog there when he needs something done. The vet we see is very informational and helpful. They even saw our box turtle and helped us out with how to care for him properly. So far this is the best place we've ever taken our pets to.
The best clinic around. My dog is a beast when it comes to getting his nails done. The are kind and patient. And professional.
