My fiancé went in to stitches for a cut on her hand. They turned her away and told her to go to the ER. We couldn’t afford the ER so we found an urgent care in Harrodsburg and they were able to give her stitches.
Worse place to get healthcare. When you go there, it’s like getting a loan and you need to provide collateral, if you don’t bring your credit card, no healthcare for you. Credit card first and then they will see what they can do. Even though you have insurance, you need to provide your credit card upfront. So disappointed to see this in America.
I cane in for a very bad cough an head cold the never Told he what I had was sent out with 1 prescription for bacteria but nothing for the cough I only seen the dr like 5 minutes enought for her the feel my throat an that was it fist time ever being there
The receptionist spent too much time intimidating the walk-ins into leaving. Even with me, who had an online appointment, she tried to bully me into leaving for some stupid made up reason.
The cost for 8 min$150 for someone with no insurance was a lil high. Trying to justify the cost by taking blood pressure and weight still didn’t do it the 3 min the nurse practitioner was in the room still didn’t do it .. over all friendly but costly .. oh and the 15 min wait in the lobby with no one there also didn’t do it. I know you are into it to make money but making some concessions for people with no life threatening issues should be considered.. I didn’t feel heard by the team, my wait was longer then my time with the nurse and physician. I don’t even recall either person that came in telling me their name or anything. Just felt incredibly uncomfortable and impersonal.
Worst experience ever. Had hernia. Could not refer. Told it could heal itself and to wear a compression belt if I did not want to push on it. Go to er if pain gets to an 8
We were put in a room after registering my son. The nurse came in and did my sons vitals then told us the doctor would be in shortly. We waited in the room approximately 45 minutes just for the doctor to tell me.. there was nothing in my sons ear but she did see what I was talking about. She didn’t try to get it out of his ear even though he was complaining it felt like a rock in there. All she did was confirm that he hadn’t stuck anything in his ear which I new he hadn’t, he’s 6 and communicates very well. Very unfortunate ... read more
