My daughter had an appointment last night at urgent care at 6:48 PM. We finally got back here. The nurse took her vitals asked what the issue was. She was very pleasant. Said the doctor would be in 1520 minutes. The doctor came in with a piece of paper in his hand. It looked at Brook💩 and said your lips are dry. You must be dehydrated and then said you don’t have strep or the flu shook her hands and walked out so my question is how did he know what was wrong with her? I scheduled an appointment for 4:50 and arrived on time. They left me sitting there almost an hour and called two people who came in after me. When I complained they wanted to argue that it was because the other people had scheduled online ignoring I had scheduled also earlier that day in the office. Decent experience compared to past visits (which were amazing). Staff was friendly and professional. Facility was clean. My only disappointments were the MA kept picking alternate complaints. I told her repeatedly I was struggling with a cellulitis around my eye. She said pink eye, then COVID…and I had to reiterate cellulitis. It also took 3 sticks in the butt to give me a steroid shot. They are always efficient getting me back there and getting everything prepared for the physician. I’ve noticed it takes forever for the physician to get into the room and it’s never busy busy since they have appointment slots. I just hear a lot of gossiping/talking and not a lot of urgency. Overall the staff is always friendly but definitely the inconsistency with doctors on hand causes some frustration.Â
As an RN I tend to be critical of healthcare facilities. However, everyone I’ve met at this facility is professional, pleasant and caring. Tyler has gone the extra mile more than once for my dad.Â
The NP was knowledgeable and efficient. He really listened to me and my daughter and ordered what we feel like are appropriate medications. We made a same day appointment and the wait time was minimal.Â
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you want to get better. 9 days of sinus issues that turned into an infection with all the green mucus, fever and chills etc. and would not prescribe any antibiotics. This place is a joke. I could tell you more, but don’t want to embarrass this place anymore than it already embarrasses itself. It used to be a great place to go, but it is now a joke, which is why it is losing clients right and left. I won’t ever go back there.Â
