They should change their name because there is nothing fast about them. We were told an hour wait and going on two hours with no one else in the waiting room. Would never come back.
I don't see any good reports on here so why does their web site show a 4 star rating? They place a $200 hold on your debit card even with an insurance card., until the insurance pays. The PA literally only looked in my daughters ears and wrote us prescription. Was that worth $196 charge? Next time I Will go back to Asheboro Urgent Care where the real doctors and PA's are. I took my daughter yesterday at 8am. We were second in the door. When asked what she needed to be seen for I told them I wanted her flu and strep tested. She has symptoms for 24 hours at this point. After vitals and in a room we were told they were out of flu tests (national shortage) I should have left and went somewhere else. Why was I not told this at check-in?!? We saw her Dr today and she tested positive for flu. We are past the 48 hour mark so if I had decided to give her an anti-viral I can not now. No wonder ... read more
If I could have less rated FastMed lower I would. It was suggested to come here for Flu vaccines. We have been waiting in a dirty waiting room with sick people coming and being seen and treated after us for 2 hours plus. I complained. Their only excuse was not enough staff. Funny how others were treated and left long before us who came in well after us. There are drinks and food on the floor that have been here before us. It does not look swept or mopped. The wait times are ridiculous! Checked in around 9 am it was a 2 hour and 50 minute wait. Come back as requested instead of sitting with germs central then I need to be here at 12:10. Been here since 11:45 again and now it is going to be another hour and a half wait (12:28 now)
Was a long wait but Dr seemed cAring and took time to insure my injured boy was not seriously injured. Of course if he had been by the time they saw him I would have already call 911. Not a bad place was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere
My entire visit to Fast Med in Aberdeen, NC was very pleasant eventhough I was feeling so sick with a fever of 102.5. In less than 10 minutes of bding called to the exam room I was diagnossed, prescribed medication and was told to return I I felt any worse. The staff were very kind, compassionate and concerned.
