I went to Fastmed, because I always wait until I'm really sick to go see a doctor. That being said, I expected to be waiting a long time. When you are sick waiting in room with other sick people is a miserable experience. However, I was taken in fairly quickly, diagnosed quickly, meds phoned into my pharmacy, and I was on my way to recovery. The staff were friendly and courteous, and the doctor was awesome. I went in with a bad cough and fever and wanted to get a covid test. I sat for over an hour before a front desk staff me called me up. She said I did not have medical insurance (meanwhile I had just used my medical insurance 4 days prior at my primary care doctor and work in insurance as a career so I am very familiar with my policy) and insisted I paid over $150 before I was seen. Don’t go here if you care about your credit. We saw an online coupon for a $20 sports physical. The normal physical cost is $54. The day we received the physical their card reader “wasn’t working.” They said they would mail the bill (no problem). When our bill was received, it was $54. I called, and called, and called, every time I was disconnected because representatives weren’t available. At that point I went to the clinic and waited nearly 45 minutes in line (out the door). This facility houses the most unprofessional so called “medical professionals “ that I have ever seen. Rude, argumentative, they aren’t ever punctual, and become very combative when you request lab results and definitive diagnosis. I have been here waiting for 3 hours and 17 minutes and haven’t had so much as a finger pricked yet. The person who’s supposed to be the office manager is the mist unprofessional of all, she literally was hostile when I told her to leave my treatment room.
Went to fast med for a child’s head injury and was turned away due to not having a “time slot,” they were closing in 25 minutes & the door says “walk ins welcome.” The woman at the front desk was rude. I’m so happy First Health Convenient is open now and we were able to go there, where we had the BEST experience.
I went to this office on 10/08/2019 to take care of a little cut on work site,and was pretty full so I decided to take care of my own and refuse to get the treatment with them. after couple of days I received a call from my company because this people call them and told I refuse to get a drug test (I never been treated with them) I'm understand who ever make that call was completely malicious. I call them about that and they can't find my name in the system or any record. BEWARE!!!! I guess is a big time HIPAA violation.
I don't normally do this...but I have to say there is Nothing fast about "Fastmed" I waited an hour to have a nurse check my TB skin test results... ridiculous!
