RecommendedDr. Chrishawn has been my vet of choice for as long as I've lived in Virginia- going on 15 years now. I was so glad when he came to the Fredericksburg area from Dumfries around the same time as we did from the Quantico area. He has been our animal healthcare partner for multiple extra large breed dogs, cats and birds. His advice has always been sound, reasonable and fair, and his knowledge extensive and up to date. Very impressed with our visit. Dr. Chrisawn was a breath of fresh air and took care of our bunny with humor, kindness, and patience. He and Stephanie did not rush us. They both listened and answered all of our questions and did not do more than was necessary or push us to do more. I felt as though our pet was in very capable and confident hands. I will certainly recommend the great staff at Ferry Farm.
Tomorrow will be a very special day at our house. Our miracle girl, Misty, will be 15 years old. It's been touch and go the last few months with her and recently she started turning down food. The vet's diagnosis was IBS, or cancer. So Dr. Hart at Ferry Farms Clinic (may God bless him) treated her with antibiotics and then we waited. She'd only eat small amounts of baby food and drink goats milk. Her condition worsened until something amazing happened about 5 days ago. She started eating...I mean really eating... ... read more
We followed Dr. Chrishawn from Dumfries to Fred. He has seen us from puppy to end days, multiple dogs, cockatiels, and a cat in the nearly 15 years I've been in Va. I can't recommend him enough. He is reasonable, paints an accurate picture of expectations and outcomes, doesn't over-test, and manages the balance between doing what is best for your pet and it's humans. FFAC is simply the best. Drs. Hart and Witter are exceptional and the staff is so helpful and pleasant, even under the most challenging of circumstances. Thank you for all that you do for our fur babies.
So this is the first time I have been to this facility. Let me tell you everyone is super nice. The doctor is extremely friendly and helpful. The amount of knowledge instantly puts you at ease. We had an emergency for one of our bearded dragons and they squeezed us in today. Also super cost effective!
All of my fur babies have gone to Dr. Witter & Dr Hart We love all the staff By far the best vet office in area. They care more about the fur babies and their care than $.
