They do things right. They have a Notary on staff that's available for members which is nice. It was a pain during the pandemic when we had to make an appointment to get into the bank, but that's changed back to normal operations now. I've had my complaints over the years but lately I can't think of any. I've never had to wait very long for a clerk window or for a Branch manager so that's works out. I've been in the credit union since 1993. In some respects they have gone down. Their interest rate is laughable. On the other hand, they don't have to report profit and loss to shareholders, and worry about their stock price (like most banks do). My paychecks are auto-deposited, and I pay my bills from here. They offer a bill-pay (which I use sometimes), and of course we can pay credit cards from the credit card accounts (which is what I usually do). FCU allows either approach. I was hesitant to join a credit union because I love my bank so much. However, First CU gave me the lowest interest rate - even lower than my current banking institution. I refinanced my truck through First CU and the experience was incredibly smooth and painless. Have been with First Credit Union only for a short time. Discovered them by receiving an auto loan through them all be it at bit higher rate but within reason. I only had that vehicle for less than a year (traded in and financed through the manufacturer) but in that time opened up a credit card with them. I have had the credit card for around a year now and have been able to take advantage of the ample reward cash back options on the card. If you are in the market to refinance, go with First Credit Union. I can't say enough good things about this establishment but also about Marvin, one of their loan officers. I did my research and shopped rates/costs between credit unions, online lenders and the larger banks like Wells Fargo and Chase but First Credit Union was by far the most up front, most helpful and worked extremely hard to complete my loan as quickly and efficiently as possible. I've been a member since 1995 and have never had anything close to a problem. I've had house and car loans in addition to normal checking/savings accounts. Their website and mobile app are pretty much the only thing I use and they are very easy to use. I only go into a branch 2 to 3 times a year and they are always pleasant and helpful. I can't imagine ever banking anywhere else.

Wow! I just moved here to Arizona from California and realized this credit union is a co-op (partnered up) with my credit union in California. Today an issue arose and the branch manager, Wendi along with training coach, Laura jumped into action to help resolve my issue! Even Bryce (the teller I usually speak with) joined in the effort. Good customer and location. They also have a drive through and an outside ATM. This union partners up with other credit unions so you can stop by if your credit union has a partnership with First Credit Union. I had to go inside for my transaction. The line moved fairly quickly and I was out pretty fast.
