RecommendedI need cataract surgery and a hole in my retina repaired my doctor give me a referral to Florida Eye Specialists. I was nervous before I left I felt comfortable and trusted both doctors that I spoke to unbelievable I'm sure glad my doctor sent me there.
In February, the 14th and the 28th, I had cataract surgery with implants. Dr. Chokshi performed both surgeries. He called me after the first one to check on me. The eye felt a little scratchy, so he told me to take some Tylenol. The next morning, there was no scratchy-ness or pain. My sister called to ask how it went and I described it as a non-event. If it had not been for Dr. Shetty. My husband would not be able to see as well as he does now. The staff and Dr Shetty are Great. Thank you for being there for him even when he had a serious problem with one of his eyes and he met him at his office after hours.
Great doctor, great office, convenient location. I can only comment on Dr. Ravi Patel since he is the one that operated on me. Very personable, very knowledgeable and he never made me feel rushed or unimportant. Sorry folks, if you never had to wait for your physician, doesn't that tell you something? Every physician runs into an anxious patient who is full of questions or has a more complicated problem than you. That puts the doctor behind schedule. The doctors get 5 stars. They are great. Their back staff not so much. You wait 2-3 hours even when you have one of the first visits of the day! They don't take patient according to appointment time - and have a very flippant attitude about it!! It's not hard to look at the appointment time and take patients back accordingly but they seem better at chit-chatting between themselves in hallway than paying attention to that little detail.
