We had to push our closing back 5 days later than expected. This really screwed us up and put us in a bind with child care, vacation planning, And getting time off work. Freddie advises us that it wasn’t a big deal and that the ‘underwriter’ were running behind. We had searched other mortgage options before we went with Freddie. However, Freddie advised us he could get us closed in time. We weren’t to happy to find out through our realtor that we were closing late and that it was “ no big deal”.
