Very "Friendly" and professional in every way with each person we came in contact. These folks know what customer service is all about. Highly recommended.
Calls go to a call center, not to the store where car was purchased. Requires MULTIPLE calls to speak to a person in service department where I purchased vehicle. Unaware until today that the service department does ONLY oil changes on weekends. My car was at the JC service department for a week and all of my issues were not resolved. Now I must drive back to dealership again for same problem. I even called prior to picking up car after a week in the service department to be sure all concerns were addressed. After getting the run around from Friendship Hyundai of Bristol (see my review on that location for that experience) I came to this location to finally try and buy a car. Hyundai advertised on their official website an amazing deal, when I spoke to the dealer and got down to the paperwork and money discussion I kept being told they "have no idea how Hyundai lists the number they do". Not happy after my 2015 hyundai santa fe with only 71,000. miles blew engine while on vacation on a Sunday morning. Had to tow vehicle to another dealership and rent a car to get back to Johnson City. Called JC Hyundai after hearing from the other dealership and finding out it would be 12 to 16 weeks to get a new motor put in. I inquired about a specific car on the web site. Simply asking for a sticker price so I could do some research and budgeting. The next day I was contacted to make an appointment and was told someone would get back to me on the price. I called twice more over the next couple of days asking for a sticker price. Dealing with their service department has been a nightmare. Took my car to get an oil changed and to have the locking mechanism looked at because the motor was making a horrible noise. I dropped it off at 1:30 in the afternoon and didn’t get it back until the next day. I see reviews and wonder how much people were paid to post "good" reviews. I would not recommend them. Not very friendly and does not really seem to want anything to do with you after the sale unless you are spending more money with them. My daughter purchased a new 2021 Tuscan. not 6 months old put down a good sum of money was forced to use their financing. she really liked the car so went on ahead and she did it.
