Just a quick update on the tattoo. I am so glad I did this! Just had my second application of ink and I am so happy with the results. If breast surgery leaves you with white scars or a loss of pigment in the nipple I definitely recommend considering this. The scarline is darker than what it will be so I will do a complete update at the 18 months mark with final results
Firstly, I'm looking to take weight off my breasts. I've weighed as much as 267 lbs. on prednisone, and as low as 142 lbs. with exercise as an adult just 5 years ago. Currently 185 lbs, 5' 5". Still can't sleep on my ears and sensitive to things that normally shouldn't bother them. There's still a tingly, numb feeling on the edges and the extra squiggly cartilage in the center is still the same size and hard. The surgery date is about 6 weeks out and I'm making travel arrangements. I'll have a 2.5 hour plane ride and then 2ish hours by car to get home. I've opted for this rather than having a connecting flight to a closer airport for roughly the same travel time. I think I'd rather be sitting around in my car, where I can recline and relax, than in an airport. I had a revision one year post surgery and it was excruciating. He jabbed me with lidocaine for local anesthetic, he did a revision in the exam room, he clipped my dog ears on the sides and decided that the sagging on the outer sides needed liposuction, so he proceeded with lipo with this local anesthetic. I have never experienced pain like this and I had 2 children one without epidural. He was barbaric to say the least.
