Why did I make the decision? For as far back as age 9 I was caretaker to a pair of “girls” which were labeled by the little boys in my class as my “jugs”. I grew up in a family of four girls and two of my siblings had model figures, long legs, arms and perky, good sized, well-rounded breasts! Well - as my life is never just straightforward - we were supposed to Skype - but 15 minutes before, my computer decides to do a back up and was totally down when we were supposed to talk. So we talked on the phone - he suggests a reduction. EEEEEK I know this sounds TOTALLY ridiculous - that I am a 40 M, but I am SO nervous about some of my breast being taken away! I can hardly wait for my procedure gals. I can't wait to buy swimsuits, new bras and to sleep on my tummy without the discomfort. Oh to have one day without my neck, back and shoulder pain... to have one day where I dont feel ultra self conscious of my huge boobs getting in the way of everything... The thought is so beautiful I could cry.

I was offered 3 options: - full lifting with nipple and horizontal scar (extra charge) - another mini UBL for more lifting (extra charge only 2k this time) - nipple reduction in the office, with no charge. I think I would go with 3rd option, I do not have the guts to take the risks of a new procedure, when you read all these horror stories... I'm was also told by the doctor these are the normal results for a mini UBL, so while I'm happy nothing went horribly wrong I think I was oversold I I can't find any resemblance between... read more

I've read a lot that since I won't be able to lift my arms after surgery, I will need several button-up or zip front tops to wear. So yesterday, I went out shopping for some. These types of shirts are not my usual style; I prefer soft, casual pullovers. Most of what I found were either really dressy, or plaid camp shirts, or cardigan sweaters. I ended up buying a really soft and casual zip-front (jacket, really) that I would normally wear a tshirt or turtleneck under, layered. I got this at Kohl's on clearance for $13.20. Th... read more

So finally I'm posting this update as I did 2 revisions for lip lift with the same doctor which I shouldn't have! He is not sensitive about my concerns and in my head I thought he is the only doctor that does that straight line suture across which I thought would be less scaring and I was wrong. The only time I didn't scar was the first one which he didn't take a lot of skin off so there was not a lot of tension on the insicion. I love pretty earrings but sadly, my left earlobe had completely split. Looked awful, plus I missed wearing my favorite earrings and didn't feel quite put together without that finishing touch. I hate needles and get queasy with most any kind of "procedure" but finally decided it was time to fix it.

Well...here are my pictures after 1 year and 3 months. Still pretty ugly. I have gone for 2 appts with other plastic surgery Dr's. My breasts can be fixed. It will cost $20,000 to fix them. They both have never even heard the term "dog ears", which I guess means ugly sticking out scars. I will have the breasts redone, the right way, this year. I have decided to update since it seems many people would like to know whats going on. After paying my 500 deposit and sending emails back and forth with Dr. H and his PA I decided to cancel my appointment. I had heard to many negative things involving this doctor and his work to still feel sure about my decision.
