We just relocated to Chandler AZ and I'm so glad that we located Dr. Stevenson @ Gentle Dental. Dr. Stevenson---you're fantastic in what you do and more importantly --- entertaining and make patients comfortable to ask questions for clarity. Keep up the great work! Also, you've a very professional and caring staff.

I made this appointment through Zocdoc because I had significant pain in one specific tooth. I was seen the next day, following roughly 47 confirmation emails and texts assuring me that Gentle Dental was very excited about my impending arrival. I explained exactly which tooth hurt and that I am a complete dental weenie. The front-desk staff and hygienist were both lovely. Booked through their online system. I have a screenshot saying I'm booked. Called to confirm since they hadn't contacted me, and they said they didn't have a booking. Then they dismissed their own systems as, well don't use those. Well then don't offer them. Scheduling and desk were all pretty unfriendly from the start. Never got to meet the dentist.

This was my third visit, and the experience was bad enough that I walked out of the appointment. The dentist was rude and condescending every time I saw him. On my first visit, he made unnecessary comments about my age and brushing habits. On this visit, he refused to do two caps because he didn't want to numb both sides, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I and my son used Gental Dental crossroads in 2023 for routine teeth cleaning. I have no complains about the cleaning nor the dentists. but the billing has been a total nightmare. After months of calls, messages, email, I finally got it all cleared up with the office and paid my portion over the phone on 8/13/2024. I was told by the staff that my account would be closed and I don't owe anything. I've been coming to this location for years. Also been bringing my kids here for years, every 6 months for their appointments. Overall, the experience has been great! But within the last year, there have now been 3 instances where the office has canceled our appts and needed to change them--1 for myself and 2 for my kids. 2 times they gave hardly any notice and 1 time they gave me 2 weeks notice, which is good. there on a promotion they insisted a deep cleaning was needed also stated I was beyond Gingivitis went to ASU dental clinic they said I did not need deep cleaning, nor did I have Gingivitis

Brought the kids in to have service and was almost overcharged $800 due to the front desk not caring enough to confirm treatment cost, then received tons of attitude about it. Avoid this Dentist all costs.

Back again, Still having issues with this place and wanted to add some more things I heard. This place is full of scammy dentists and an unorganized/unethical payment office. I have encountered dentists that lie about amount of cavities. They've told myself and multiple other people that we have gingivitis and need to buy their overpriced products when we don't.
