I’m not one to exaggerate but my experience with Gentle Dental in Happy Valley completely blew me away. Today was my first dentist visit in over 4+ years and I had a lot of anxiety going into my appointment. Each and every staff member I interacted with were nothing short of kind and understanding. I've been a Gentle Dental customer for more than 10 years and today I pulled my records to find a new dentist. They've always asked for a lot of personal and medical information, but have not in the past had a problem if I only provided what I was comfortable with and felt medically necessary for a dentist to know. I’ve been away from dentists for many years due to PTSD from past experiences. I am so glad I decided on Gentle Dental. The reception staff is caring and very polite. The dental staff are calming, knowledgable, and very accommodating. The extraction of my wisdom teeth went smoothly and I was very happy to have the work done in such a positive atmosphere. Thank you all and I’ll be back!
New to me Hygienist, Amanda Chavez, was a delight to work with today, that not being an adjective I have used before for dental hygiene treatment. She was very attentive to my areas of sensitivity and answered all of my questions, increasing my dental hygiene education. Dr. Phan was cordial, concise and informative. Kate (sp?) was great as usual, helping keep me comfortable around my disabilities and Michelle at front desk was also very helpful. A very positive experience all around.
My brother is developmentally disabled, so working on his teeth is challenging. He needed an extraction for a crowned tooth that came off, and Gentle Dental's oral surgeon, Dr. Erickson, accomplished the procedure successfully. She and her assistant Amanda kept us in the loop regarding the procedure and provided all the information necessary for us to feel comfortable that our brother was well served. High marks for this team!
