This is what their standard deep cleaning looks like, the next day I woke up by choking on a blood clot in my mouth. My gums have been throbbing ever since. Please do not go here unless you like to wake up to choking on your own blood.
DO NOT GO! I have been going to this dentist for a few years now, every six months and loved the care & attention I got from Zora the hygienist and the rest of the staff. This morning I went in for my usual appt. only to find out that the ownership had changed along with everything else. Do not and I mean do not go to this place for your dental needs. I visited this dentists office due to an insurance change. I thought I would give them a try. They did the usual full mouth xrays and then the hygienist did her exam of each tooth. There were a few that needed some deeper cleaning, but not many as she explained how the took she was using worked. I've been coming to this location for years. I've had; cleanings, fillings, root canals, etc and have never had a bad experience, until my last visit/visits with Dr. Moshen. (sp ?) I went to this office when a artificial tooth I had for 25 years fell out . I was told it would be over 3,000 dollars to replace.(my share after insurance).I felt that was outrageous.A friend of mine who used to be a dental tech. recommended a dentist in Santa Ana who did a beautiful replacement for $800 with no insurance.I believe seniors who live in Laguna Woods should check outside the village area when having expensive dental work. It is sad that too many Dentist offices have turned into professional sales operations.
I needed a crown. I paid in advance. Now I am fighting for the money for a root canal. I did not have a root canal. I did not need one. I had already had one, but when I saw the bill....holy cow! Jennifer, the red-haired receptionist was caught lying by me and the office manager. Then, Adrianna, the office manager missed her commitment--that SHE set, to resolve this issue. Do not repeat Do not go there Way overpriced do not read any further wanted 2 times the going rate. Misdiagnosed the issues i was having. Your an idiot if you go there
I will never go back. I paid my co-pay for five extractions and temporary and permanent dentures. One of the five extractions was not even touched...three were complete but number four still has part of the root and the nerve. This is not good and complete dental work.
I agree with Kouhyar. I went in with a chipped tooth and paid way too much for a new crown. Every time I turned around they were adding for this and that to increase the cost, it was ridiculous. They charged extra to lower the gum, really. If I wasn't leaving on a trip the next day I would have definitely shopped around. They did give me a $50.00 credit so I decided to get my teeth cleaned, he literally cleaned my teeth in 15 minutes. It was the worst cleaning I have ever had. I will never go back to that place.
