Golden Heights Healthcare truly stands out. The staff is exceptional--professional, compassionate, and always welcoming to residents and families alike. The environment feels warm and supportive, and the facility is consistently clean and well maintained, both inside and out. I cannot speak highly enough of the care I received at Golden Heights Nursing facility. The Doctors from Kaiser are exceptional and the care is 24 hours. I am going home tomorrow and have recuperated very well.

The Facility is big enough, clean and sanitary. But the staff is so disorganized. They don't seem to communicate with each other I don't know what system they have but it is so difficult to get a straight and clear answer when you ask for updates. So it is best to be ready to answer when they call you otherwise when you return their call they have no clue about your question. Brought my 90 years old Uncle at this facility and he is very well taken care of. He likes it there and knowing that is my peace of mind that he is ok and trust everyone. Everyone works well with each other and are friendly.

They actually listened and the exterminator did come and check for bugs. That's great. Food is not great, steamed to death. Everything seems to be mesh. Unappetizing. Staffing is caring. Be careful of meds being inaccurate, quite scary actually to be given meds that you don't recognize.

My mom has been at Golden Heights for the past 9 months. She was first admitted for short-term rehab after a fall and hospital stay. Because of her injuries and inability to live independently, she transitioned to long-term care at Golden Heights. My sis was sent here to recover after she fell, broke her leg, had surgery in a foreign country and after arrival home, the ER staff here determined she needed to be in a facility with skilled nursing assist. She received good care here and the nursing staff included her in the decision making when one of the medicines she received was making her feel bad because the dose prescribed by the in house MD was too high for her. My mom stayed and recovered here at this facility and I wanted to share our personal experiences to stop the spread of misinformation about this place on review sites. This care facility was truly a godsend for my family and even though there were some issues, the overall experience was not as frightening as what other reviewers had led me to believe before my mom was transferred here.
