My mom has been at Golden Heights for the past 9 months. She was first admitted for short-term rehab after a fall and hospital stay. Because of her injuries and inability to live independently, she transitioned to long-term care at Golden Heights. My sis was sent here to recover after she fell, broke her leg, had surgery in a foreign country and after arrival home, the ER staff here determined she needed to be in a facility with skilled nursing assist. She received good care here and the nursing staff included her in the decision making when one of the medicines she received was making her feel bad because the dose prescribed by the in house MD was too high for her. She had to stay 2 weeks to get physical therapy to learn how to walk and occupational therapy. The t... read more

My mom stayed and recovered here at this facility and I wanted to share our personal experiences to stop the spread of misinformation about this place on review sites. This care facility was truly a godsend for my family and even though there were some issues, the overall experience was not as frightening as what other reviewers had led me to believe before my mom was transferred here. My gramma was in post op here in March 2024. They stole $60+ cash, a gold jewelry piece left from my deceased grandpa, drinks...etc. she said they never gave call service on the weekends. Called here for weeks and they never helped in the matter. Was never able to follow up with authorities efficiently because of it... if you care about your loved ones out of an immediate operative setting NEVER SEND THEM HERE. You'll regret it.!

I was released today. Pt room was a joke, but staff was good. Cassie did a great job on me without proper equipment. This place should be shut down. Cna staffs spoke in tagallo. Food often cold. When yuy pressed the call you were lucky if thy cam in under 30 minutes ONCE AGAIN I WOULD CLOSE THIS FACILITY

The nurses and some cna's were really nice. Unfortunately all are understaffed and overworked. The PT dept. was a big disappointment. I asked them to focus getting my mum out of bed with assistance and to stand and walk with her walker. The PT group couldn't even tell me if my mum was weight baring or not. My mum is now bedbound. Pls don't send luv one's to this facility.
