Great food great atmosphere. Service was terrible. Very slow and we didn’t get our bar drinks until after our food came out

Wait staff was goos, environment was great, and the food even better. Our waiter helped with suggestions and they were amazing as well! Definitely plan on returning.
Have had pickle brine chicken on several occasions and is a fav. Sadly, last night was a grilled chicken with bacon sandwich. Very disappointing. Also, green beans with meatloaf were stone cold.
We came to Grindstone on the Monon off-peak thinking we would have an area to ourselves and could enjoy each other‘s conversations. We had a reservation as well. Unfortunately, it was not what we expected at all. We were placed in the front corner of the restaurant by the kitchen door. Every table was taken and it was very loud and a thoroughfare for other restaurant guests to get to the front door. We were disappointed to say the least. Food was good at best.
