The food and service were excellent. We had the chicken and noodles and the short rib dinners. Our appetizers were short rib crustini's and goat cheese bruchetta. Both were outstanding. It's almost a sports bar atmosphere but with a menu that offers more. Would definitely recommend.

Met up with high school, college and former co-workers for dinner. The service was great and the food was even better!

I had the salmon again tonight; last time it was over cooked around the edges. Tonight it was spot on. It was a rather pale salmon; not sure I've ever seen one so pale, but it was excellently prepared. Husband had the Pesto Mahi. Said it seemed a bit too salty for him. Potatoes were good but a bit dry.

While the service was great the food was sub par. We have previously enjoyed Grindstone’s and have celebrated several family birthdays there. Last night food was only ok. Too expensive for what we got.

Food was subpar. Got the lemongrass chicken, which had zero flavor, the breading was mush. The fried green tomatoes were very bland. We also had the cheese curds which just tasted like bland oil. The salad with salmon was decent, nothing special, but that’s not a dish you can really “mess-up” the wait staff was fantastic.

Fried chicken sandwich had very little chicken in it. Mostly breading. Green chili was really good. Service was fine

We ate at Grindstone on the Monon twice last week - lunch on Wednesday and dinner on Friday. We had lunch on the patio, and the food was delicious. I had a Cobb Salad that was excellent. My wife had filet sliders and a cup of soup which she enjoyed very much. We returned on Friday for dinner (I had managed to leave my credit card there on Wednesday so we went back to retrieve the card and have dinner.) I had fish and chips.
