Enjoyed our dinner very much. Server recommendations were delicious. Food was good. Only exception was grits and mashed potatoes were a bit cold like they were plated before rest of entree was finished. However we were overall very happy with our experience.

The food was wonderful and we had good service as well. Ambiance is good although it is a little loud.

Had a very nice lunch & all 3 of us ordered different menu items. Varied from the meatloaf dinner, to another have French onion soup & salad, and another a fried green tomato sandwich. Delicious!!

Chose to eat in the bar area. service was excellent. started things off with the fried green tomato appetizer, which i have had before and did not disappoint. so many places overcook and you can’t taste the tomatoes. decided to try the lemongrass chicken. was very good, sizable portion, great flavor. the Orange crème brûlée also excellent. will be back.

Had a wonderful lunch in the bar— we all had different selections and everyone was extremely pleased! Anna was our server and as usual she didn’t miss a beat— delivered our food quickly and kept our drinks filled. We love coming here— food and service is always outstanding. My only request— if/when a new menu is considered— perhaps add some additional vegetarian options. Thanks for a lovely lunch!!

We were promptly greeted when we arrived for our reservation. Our table was outside which was our request when we made our reservation. Lauren, our server was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the Salmon Salad. The salad was delicious with fresh strawberries, pecans, asparagus and zucchini bread. The children’s meals of chicken tenders and French fries were amazing. We were very happy with our meals and our attentive server. I highly recommend Grindstone on the Monon for a nice dinner.

The food and service were excellent. We had the chicken and noodles and the short rib dinners. Our appetizers were short rib crustini's and goat cheese bruchetta. Both were outstanding. It's almost a sports bar atmosphere but with a menu that offers more. Would definitely recommend.
