We had a wonderful dinner last evening. My husband ordered the fish dinner— as usual— and said once again everything was delicious. My meal of salad, baked potato, and carrots was equally tasty. I tried the carrots upon Anna’s recommendation and I was extremely impressed. Anna was our server— she does a phenomenal job ensuring drinks are filled and food arrives timely. We enjoyed our lunch at Grindstone on the Monon because of the variety of choices, great service, and delicious food.
We requested a remote table for our family of four to celebrate our mother’s 93rd birthday, and we were accommodated with a quiet table on the enclosed patio. We had told mom to pick her favorite restaurant; she immediately said she wanted to go to Grindstone on the Monon. Her favorite items on the menu are the fried green tomato appetizer, and lemongrass chicken entree. We had excellent service and the food was wonderful. Thank you so much for making her 93rd birthday fun and memorable.

Went here for a nicer 3rd date, atmosphere was casual yet higher class than a chain restaurant. Food was delicious and service was impeccable. Would recommend to anyone.
I was there with a friend, and we had a very nice dinner. We were able to have a food conversation, and the food was delicious.
Wasn't bad but wasn't blown away. Food was good, service was great. Choice of music playing was someone personal choice and it didn't go with the ambience of the restaurant
