Drew was our server and he was terrific. Both of our meals were great. We enjoy coming here— great/diverse menu with several options for vegetarians and carnivores!!
Devour Indy is going on, so we were checking out the restaurants participating on this app. Grindstone was the most inexpensive and had great reviews. Having never tried we thought it would be a good choice to have a dinner date. We made a reservation for Friday at 5:45 and I’m glad we did. It was packed by then and when we left it was even more packed. It has been decent outside so I requested outdoor seating. This is really the only reason why I’m not giving my experience 5 stars. The salmon salad was very good. I didn't think the combination of berries/potato sticks and pecans would go well with the salmon, but wrong. It was delicious together.
We dined here for the first time during Devour Indy. Their offering was 2 people for $50; one app, 2 entrees and one dessert. We had the cheese curds (10/10 - would go back for these alone!); meatloaf and chicken and noodles for our entrees. Hubby said the meatloaf was fine but he wouldn't order it again. Love the food and service. It is bit loud and the noise level is somethings hard to have a conversation.
We sat outside on the patio and it was a beautiful evening. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed out time together as a family.
We had an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. Can't wait to return.
Wonderful and super friendly service for our party of 8! Everyone thought their food was delicious.
Our server was attentive, considerate and helpful in make no recommendations for desserts. The food was good. We were able to dine outside and enjoy the beautiful evening.
