RecommendedOur 11 y/o dachshund was diagnosed with mouth/throat cancer, it was unexpected, advanced quickly and she passed 8 weeks later. The staff responded promptly to my calls, texts for all of my concerns regarding Pixie and her meds or care during those 8 weeks - and my texts were frequent and long. Although I hoped she would pass peacefully at home. It was known she would most likely need to be euthanized as the tumor would block her ability to eat, drink and breath. We have been taking our pets to Hamptonburgh for 15+ years. Dr Tuthill is always honest and upfront about our pets care & treatment. Never tries to upsell extra testing or anything. Our dog recently came in for a procedure- the staff was informative and helpful, easing our worries. She was released with after care instructions and a follow up appt. I highly recommend Dr Tuthill and his team at Hamptonburgh.

Doctors and techs who truly care about your pets best interest. They’ve taken care of my cats for the past few years and my families dogs. I’ve also brought several strays to be neutered and they are always great while working with them. Highly recommend them to anyone searching for a vet for your fur babies !!

I have been using Hamptonburgh Animal Hospital since the beginning. I had a choco lab, who’s since passed, and i now have 10 cats!! They have always been great every time i’ve been there. They saved one of my cat’s lives and even gave him special treatment during his stay. ( he was the lap pet of a certain person), just to make him feel at ease. I recently took my 10 year old Maltese mix little girl to have dental work done! Her teeth were in very bad shape and her breath was just awful! I was nervous about the anesthesia at her age, but I knew she really needed the work done! When I brought her in I was comforted by the amazing staff. I got a call to come get her around 6 pm.
