The staff is informative and friendly. I feel like a part of the family. I never feel like I am being rushed in and out.
Dr. Okabe was excellent! I chipped my tooth and had just moved to hawaii 5 days prior. I didn't have a dentist and called over 10 on a Sunday to try and get in early Monday. His office called first thing at 7:30 am and told me to come right in. Once I was there his staff was very friendly and nice. Dr. Okabe gave me my different options and explained everything in detail. After he fixed everything later that night I got a personal call from Dr. Okabe which is above and beyond in my book!!! Great doctor.
I am happy! my teeth were expertly cleaned today by Jesse ( did i get the name right?). Appreciated the advice on proper flossing...and i like the proxabrush cleaner she gave. excellent service ---thank you!
Dr. Okabe was, as always, professional, caring, and interesting to talk to. It's not all about your teeth. He is interested in you as a person. The visiting hygenist was gentle and super nice. She gave some good suggestions on improving how I care for my teeth.
Dr. Okabe takes the time to explain procedures thoroughly, patiently and respectfully. He is meticulous and does all the aesthetic work himself even though his techs seem experienced and very knowledgeable. Everyone in the office is welcoming and willing to answer my questions. Nice touches: complimentary coffee and bottled water, full validation allowing extra time to leisurely get out of the parking garage, comprehensive treatment plan with accompanying photos, chart and DVD for you to keep and refer to. Dr. Okabe and Staff provide excellent quality of service, which reminds us why we continue to be treated at their office for 15 years+.Dr. Okabe and Staff are always looking for ways to improve dental care.
Great service. One suggestion ... I suggest that all patient be affirmatively provided with the estimated cost of the service in advance, even for the smallest procedure.
I've been with Dr. Okabe for about 18 years now. I like his efforts in keeping up with new techniques and technology, my old dentist was family, who remained unchanged for all the years that I went to him. One of the greatest assets to his practice, in my opinion, is his team of dental hygenist, assistants and office staff, they have always given me the best and friendly service. The appointment scheduling as well as the actual procedure was easily done. Sure there was a brief time when I tapped out, just a sensitive spot needing a bit more numbing medicine, but other than that it was comfortable.The compassion and friendliness of the staff were very supportive and helped to insure a good experience.The oral care solution that was provided for home use (twice a day x 10 days), I didn't care for, and am reluctant to continue it as it did burn a bit, and caused some bleeding of the gums.
