I don't think I've ever left a yelp review but feel compelled to do so tonight! The best experience at a restaurant that I've had in years! Perfect service from the host, greeter and waitress! Food was excellent with generous portions! What a gem! Keep it up Henry's!
My fiancee and I just moved to the area and a friend of mine recommended Henry's Louisiana Grill. We sat at the bar and our bartender, Ashley did a great job. In spite of the place being packed, she didn't miss a beat and was very attentive and personable towards us. The food was delicious too. I'd highly recommend trying this place for your next night out. I'd give more stars if I could.
My husband and I stop here in the fall and spring going to and from Florida/ Columbus Ohio. My husband always gets Chicken Ooh La La and it's always fantastic! I tried the Bayou cake&grits ... fantastic! The bartender that has been there for 7 years (Ashley) has always given the best service and was training a new bartender (Riley) both are so friendly and quick! We love this place. I wish they would add a restaurant in Columbus, Ohio and Venice, Florida. Btw do you have a cookbook for sale?
Dominique was extraordinary! We went on Mother's Day and arrived about 7:00 PM. She had been serving all day from 10:00 AM. We would never have known her long day or how tired she was because she was bubbly, effervescent, and gave us extremely great service. We even spoke to her Manager about her exceptional service. we were on a return trip from Florida and happened to stop at that location for dinner. Henry no longer owns the restaurant. The food is not as good as when it first opened years ago. My wife and I are from New Orleans. We know how good Louisiana food is suppose to taste.
Had reservation, arrived early, seated immediately!! Dominique R was our server. Prompt, attentive yet not hovering. Excellent food and experience all around!!
Food was great with exception of fried shrimp. They said they were jumbo but they were not they should have likely been classified as medium. Their fried batter is okay just not great. Their sauces are however outstanding The cornbread that they serve is absolutely amazing. Ambience is great. Portions are large. There is no need to get a full portion unless you can take it home or you are splitting meal with someone.
This is our go to place for Cajun food in the area. Enjoy the service. Love the atmosphere, it feels like you are in NOLA.
My wife and I have been coming here for years! We used to drive all the way from Cumming GA to eat here. So glad it's close by now! Henry's is an experience! Being landlocked as Atlanta is, it's hard to find really good seafood and being from the panhandle of Florida, and that close to Louisiana, I know when this type of food is legit.
