2nd favorite facility.Very clean and proffesional. Rooms were nice size. Residents were pleased with the facility.
Very unorganized. The room always smelled like urine because they wouldn't change the bed. Did not keep up with incontinence issues. Billing was a mess. The people working there were always so grumpy. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Heritage Oaks could improve on the food, the management and the doctor response. There could be more availability to the families. They could also have better options for pill management.

My mother passed [date removed] we were told that she would owe 14 days of rent after death. We promptly removed all her belongings within 2 days of death. The October auto debit was to be for 8 days, to our surprise it was the entire month over $[removed]. we promptly called and were told refund would be issued within 4 weeks, it is has been 6 months. My one current concern is that they were not prepared with their generators to maintain the facility during the recent hurricane that caused power outages in Conroe. I thought all care facilities were required to have generators that passed inspection. What happened there?

Based on the rules of this review, I will just say that the nursing staff acted in a very concerning manner. They kicked out a resident without notifying family first. That resident was dying. The nurse in charge (regional nurse) might want to go to med school if she wants to play doctor.

I'd have them shut down if I could! The place is clean except the patients rooms. It's beautiful but the care is terrible ! There are No activities! They were chemically restraining my dad and did not check on him after I had asked them to which caused him to fall and was badly injured. They did not even call for help! I would not recommend this facility to a dying dog!

I would NOT recommend Heritage Oaks to anyone after the experience we had with the management there. They automatically charged a monthly late fee see despite not being late on payments and only refunded it if asked about it. That to me is fraud/theft. Secondly, they ran out of his medicine multiple times despite having full control of his medication. They didn't bring him all his meals sometimes he went without.
