Great printer, can't go wrong buying this one. This is a great printer which I got at a great price on Amazon. Was able to hook it up by WI fi with all my devices and I love the print quality of it.
Great buy Love this printer. I have always had problems installing and setting up printers. This was just as the reviews have said- very easy. I love the quality of the print, the ease and the speed. The only complaint I would have is when you download the printer program you get this program called something like Nuance- I called it Nuisance. All of my current settings on any charts or check writing did not fit this programs settings. The amount of time it would take to change all of this would be crazy. Very possible there... read more

It installs really easily and Brother support is #1. Plus in the long run, toner is much cheaper than ink.
So far this is a good-buy for us This Brother printer so far works really well for our office. The printing speed is not super fast but good enough for our daily work. The color printing quality is better than I expected, and speed wise it's really impressive. The only downside that I can see now is that there is not many genuine brand options for replacement toner to buy and the price is not that friendly as other Brother printer models. Great Printer! It works great! No it is NOT designed as a photo printer. If your thing is photos, then buy a photo printer. It prints respectable color prints and is blistering fast in monochrome black laser. That, and the fact I can copy + (duplexes), faxes, and is a true all-in-one. I like it because I do a lot of writing and it prints in black exceptionally. That is the primary reason I bought it, so if you want to do color with great results get a top of the line inkjet.

Fits my photo doc needs perfectly Perfect for photos inserted into letters - see pic of first 3 prints I made with the HL-3180CDW. Photo resolution lines acceptable. Easily meets colored graph expectations for reports. Prints faster in color than my old B&W laser printer so exceeds my expectations. I found the color of photos richer/deeper on regular paper. Perfect for Homeschooling! I needed to upgrade our inkjet printer so that I could stop spending so much money on ink. I thought this laser printer was a perfect price point for being able to print/copy/scan so many more copies then I could with the inkjet. It does the trick while having the color option but without being too fancy. Bonus is that it can connect to wifi for mobile printing, which is huge since I do so much more on my iPad then my desktop where it is connected via cable.
