Great Almost sound-free operation. No movement of unit when at work. Easy to load paper. Easy to manage for color, form of printing, multiple copies. Have not replaced ink, yet--too new. Being a budding writer, I do a lot of printing.

I returned this printer because the scan function was not reliable with the software they provided. Furthermore, setting up scan-and-email from the printer was unsuccessful for me. Great Value on Several Fronts Would have given it a 5 star but I'm waiting to judge its durability. I got tired of buying Ink Jets. We only use a printer sporadically, the cartridges clogg, and it seems half the ink is used to clear it. Then, the excess ink gets on the printer head which must be gingerly removed and meticulously cleaned. The final straw was when my printer head went bad, which costs more than half the price of a new Ink Jet! Brother HL-3180CDW printer all in one. It is a good home or small office printer.
A fine printer /copier I used to have a copier and a laser printer. While I don't have a lot of need for color, it's nice to have around when you want it. A full color print out is surprisingly good, not photographic of course, but close enough for most needs. This printer (HL-3180CDW) replaced both of my older devices.
