Now it serves about 6 people regularly and has a happier life. Auto-duplex works great This little guy is a work horse. Used as a primary printer for an office of about 30, and it kept up, but was a little taxed. Now it serves about 6 people regularly and has a happier life. Auto-duplex works great, handles labels well, no issues. Brother is always a solid choice.
Sturdy printer! A bit noisy and it can take about 20 seconds to start printing, but the unit appears to be well made and prints well. You can buy cheaper units, but this one seems to be well put together.

Nice, fast printer We ordered this to replace an older Brother brand printer. This one is nice because it isn't as heavy as older models and it prints quick. It is easy to install, find the drivers, and works well. Much better than the older models. It is about the size of a carton that holds milk, but isn't too heavy.

Disposable but good These are solid printers for business use. The drum goes bad every 3 or 4 cartridges and I replace the entire printer for about $200 instead of buying the $120 drum. New printer includes a (basic) toner cartridge. They are always easy to set up on the network and they work great - until the drum goes.
Great printer, good value Fast, wireless works well, takes a full ream of paper - but very noisy and seems a little bigger than necessary.
