We have a bunny and we have really struggled to find good vets. We recently moved to the Hudson Valley and are SO glad to have found Dr. Furst at Hudson Highlands! He really knows bunnies, was informative, caring, and very skilled with the care of our pet. Our black Rex/lionhead mix had a hairball blockage and I am CONVINCED that the best case scenario elsewhere would have been surgery. We have brought our dogs to Hudson Highlands Vet Med Group for about 12 years. Dr. Twila Whitefield is our main vet but in emergencies, sometimes we've seen other vets. I feel very comfortable taking my dogs there, as I know we will be treated with kindness, a listening ear, and respect, along with top medical skills. Besides the annual visits, we've had a number of "emergency" situations over the years and the dogs were treated ASAP, successfully. I have been bringing my golden retriever Quinn here since he was 7 weeks old and he has always received exceptional care but what happened over the last two weeks was beyond exceptional. I brought Quinn, who just turned 12, in to receive a bordatella vaccine update. I have always used Hudson Highlands for all our veterinary care but when Izzy ate an entire bottle of Motrin they went above and beyond in her care. I believe that the efforts of Dr. Stephen Furst and Dr. Springer along with the vet techs saved Izzy's life. I would highly recommend Hudson Highlands to anyone with a pet. They are wonderful. We have brought our lab to Hudson Highlands since she was a puppy. Dr. Kalba and all of the techs (especially Laura!) have been wonderful since day one. Our girl has food allergies and HHVMG has always been supportive. Recently she was diagnosed with Addison's Disease. HHVMG dove right in and treated our girl right away. Just days after we noticed her decline in health and brought her to HHVMG, she is back to her normal energetic self! I have been to many vets over the years in New York and New Jersey and this one has been by far the best. they are understanding and they will work with you to find a solution for whatever it is ailing your pet. they take their time to explain everything and you never feel rushed or pressured you leave there feeling good.

We have been taking our 3 dogs to Hudson Highlands for over 6 years now, and have ALWAYS had excellent experiences. From the front desk staff to the vet techs and assistants to the Vets themselves, we are always so impressed with the care provided. The doctors (particularly Dr. Kalba & Dr. Springer) spend time with us to thoroughly explain everything in easy-to-understand terms, and we never feel rushed. I can't say enough good things about Husdon Highlands. They have taken such good care of my two dogs and my cat! I've been there with two emergencies also. The staff is extreamley nice and the doctors I've dealt with, Kalba, Christensen, Whitefield and Monte have alwayes helped me make the most practical choices for me and my pets, not the most expensive! I highly recommend them, both offices, Beacon and Lime Kiln.

Dr Springer is great with our two rescues. They were seeing her before we adopted them so it was nice to keep the same vet. The office is very nice, staff is very friendly and they sell a lot of pet products in the lobby which is very convenient. I was impressed at how helpful the staff was on the phone even before we came in for our first visit!
