The extra numbing, I think it was the cotton ball soaked and placed on my eye, was so effective that I had no discomfort, and no watery eye, or runny nose, that usually accompanies my injections. I would like to suggest that to my doctor, so that all of his patients get that rapid relief, and don't suffer the discomfort. It sometimes lasts for hours, and there was none of that with this method.
Dr. Feng has been treating me since early December when my retina became detached. His care, along with his staff, is outstanding and very professional. He explains the process and situation well and I trust him immensely.
Dr Feng and staff are really great. Efficient, on time and friendly.
I have had my share of doctors appointments ho care more about the money than they do for their patient. Dr Feng is not one of them. Truly, he is one of the best I’ve experienced. He’s thorough and professional and at the same time kind. His office staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Finally! I have found a great doctor.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Feng for eye floaters, and other conditions due to aging, and I love his approach and compassion when it comes to explaining what is going on.

Dr. Feng is very thorough. His explanations are clear and understandable. He doesn’t recommend unnecessary tests or procedures.
I was given an appointment on the same day my eye dr. called and requested an appt. due to a small tear found on my retina at my first annual visit. The Illinois retina associates agreed w my optometrist and planned a procedure for the same day. The patient representative reached out to my insurance. All went well. Everyone at the Illinois Retina Associates were professional, kind, and efficient. Thanks for your help and care.
