Having been diagnosed with macular degeneration by my ophthalmologist left me very frightened, I then scheduled an appointment at the Illinois Retina Specialists. Dr. Fang explained my condition thoroughly and set me at ease by explaining the plan of treatment. He is extremely competent and caring. In addition his assistant was very good and helpful.

I was so worried because the eye sight in one of my eyes was blurry and getting worse by the day. After seeing Dr. Feng I felt relieved because he explained what I have. He recommended a conservative approach which works in 90% of the patients. Even if I am one of the 10% I feel confident that should I need surgery, I am in the right hands.
