Just rented a space at *** *** *** in Round Rock, TX. The "leasing" service - don't remember his name was very helpful. Tracy - the lady at the storage facility was exceptional. So pleasant and helpful. She picked up my day with her attitude which is important when going thru the hell of moving. ***** ********

Predatory sales.They offered the storage unit for $32 a month. Then in a few months, it goes up to $42 a month. Then within a year its $63 a month.When I spoke with the local manager, he said thats what it is. It goes up every four months.Even though the current rate advertise is $28 a month for that size.Terrible customer service and predatory sales.Obviously, Im moving out!

Do Not Use Extra Space Storage If you are looking for long term storage do not use Extra Space Storage they start off with an unbelievable great deal to get tou in and then every 6mo they jack the price up my no less than $60...consistently every 6 months. They claim to do this because the amount of storage available is less and the need is more m I use to use Uhaul and for 5 years it never went up enough for me to even notice it.

There are definitely rats and bugs, not to mention the state of the occupied units around mine being filled with food and other detritus that promotes that.

Extra Space Storage has always been my go-to when i need to move and store my smaller items. They have gone from fair to exorbitant on rent rates. I moved my items in to a five foot by five foot storage unit in February 2024 - 2 years - ago at a rate of ***** dollars a month total, with the "required monthly insurance charge".It is now September 5th, 2026 and my rent for the same 5 foot by 5 foot storage unit - it has Not gotten Larger - has just been raised to 184.xx; and this after the company sent me a message saying that... read more

Terrible customer service and absolute abuse of trust by the managers at this location. They are completely unfair, took my money, and flat out refuse to return it, making up every excuse possible. They do not care about customers at all. Be very careful before renting here; look for other options if you don't want to lose your money. Totally dishonest!"

I am filing a complaint against Extra Space Storage at ***************************************, regarding damage to my belongings caused by mold, mildew, and severe dampness inside my storage unit.I rented a unit advertised as climate-controlled and stored belongings from my entire three-bedroom home there. I have been renting a storage unit from an Extra Space Storage location for 6 months now. I was given a promotional rate of $129 for the first 6 months, and told verbally that once the rate ended I would be charged $179 a month after that. That is also about the rate that the Extra Space website currently lists as the non-promotional rate for my unit. Instead the corporate office for Extra Space raised my rate to $229. If they refuse to honor their agreements they should not be receiving business

Zero stars would be more appropriate. I was just at my storage unit in ********* and the second I got out of the you can just smell the mold in the air its damp. My furniture is ruined and not replaceable as it is from the 70s. The upkeep is terrible. One of the garage doors is broken with a note saying you have to hold the button up. Enter back into the building hold the button down to close the door. Its been there for at least 2 to 3 weeks. The lawn landscape is completely overgrown.
