Really impressed with texture and taste of our steak especially since we requested no salt. Grilled asparagus was perfect and the potatoes were delicious. Above average red wine and champagne options by the glass which is refreshing for San Antonio. Jordan, our waitress, was pleasant well informed, allowed us to finish our apps before asking for our main dish always available when needed and never hovered. My husband and I went to J-Prime for a date night and to celebrate my birthday. Everyone there was so attentive and made our dinner special every step of the way. Especially our waiter John Silvestro. He recommended a bottle of red wine for our steak, and it was one of the best reds I’ve ever had. It just kept getting better and better! We went to JPrime for our 16th Anniversary. Absolutely everything about our experience was mind blowing! Katie, our server, was beyond exceptional. We ordered the porterhouse for two. It was outstanding! Realistically, it was a porterhouse for 3. My husband took the leftovers to work the next day. Yes. There were more than a few jealous coworkers! We have been planing our repeat visit before our soup arrived.

I love going out to eat for a special occasion. It feels more special. J. Prime went above and beyond to help my husband and I celebrate our wedding anniversary. We walked into a private room in the back and basically had the room to ourselves. On the table was a lovely card from the restaurant wishing us many more years of wedded bliss. J Prime is my "go to" restaurant for beef. They prepare a outstanding bone in ribeye and bone in filet. their sides are generous and delicious . the atmosphere is comfortable and the service impeccable.
