The best Steak House we have been to in San Antonio.
Generally have a good experience here, but not having any dry-aged steaks when you boast them on your website is very misleading.
Stuffed chicken with spinach was awesome! Hubs enjoyed bone in ribeye, and our friends raved about the lamb chops and spinach side dish as well. Another great time at JPrime!
Sadly it had been a while since we had been to J Prime. We were surprised on this visit that some things had changed. Apparently they no longer serve the mini-charcuterie platter at the beginning of the meal. Our young guest joining us was really looking forward to that. However the dinner roll basket was upgraded to include some amazing rolls - reminiscent of the old Ounce that was once in that spot. Awesome restaurant and one of the better steakhouses in San Antonio!! Everything was prepared perfect and tasted great!!
I noted it was for a birthday, no acknowledgement of that at the restaurant. Ate only about 1/3 of my scallops as they tasted bitter- was surprised when server and floor manager looked at my plate but didn’t inquire about my obvious lack of interest in my entree. Spinach and creamy potatoes were delicious, as was the wedge salad.

Everything is really excellent at this restaurant from the service to the wine and the food. Well worth patronizing.
