My friend and I had dinner here on a Friday evening and it was absolutely lovely. I love the way the restaurant was designed, with the dining sections separated by glass partitions, which allows the diner to experience the whole space but helps keep the noise level fairly low and the atmosphere pretty cozy, particularly for a restaurant of this size. We made our reservation a few days ago, but when we arrived we had to wait 45 mins because the party at our table were extending their enjoyment a little too much. The reason I gave them 5 stars is because the manager Fernando more then made up for it with a round of drinks. Fernando and the 3 ladies up front were touching base and checking with us the entire time. Lamb chops were wonderful
It was restaurant week so we decided to try J-Prime. We live downtown so it is a hike to 1604. The Bourbon smash cocktail was absolutely delicious! Our 6 oz filet was very nice and perfectly cooked. The sides were very tasty and a very generous portion. The glazed baby rainbow carrots with apricots were especially good. We had very nice service. We were not rushed, and we enjoyed a leisurely meal. The bar and happy hour look appealing for a future visit!!
Great restaurant. Service started out great and then diminished. We had huge lag times waiting for to go box, dessert, check. Our server disappeared on us.
The service was stupendous, the food was excellent, the variety on the menu was outstanding! Will definitely be going back!
Not an intimate setting for a cozy dinner-more like McDonalds! Expensive for a stressful dinner! Great service is all I can say!
Service was perfect, meal was well paced, food perfectly prepared steaks, pork chops. The rocqufort dipping sauce added a special touch. This was our first time at J-Prime. We went for the restraint week special and can't wait to go back.
