Outstanding service, great food. Prices about what you would expect for a upper end steak house. Moderate noise level which allowed easy converstaions with the other dinners. Perhaps the outstanding part of the evening was the service. Starting with the bar staff and continuing thoughout the evening the wait staff was attentive, polite and proactive in taking care of the dinners.
My ribeye was a poor quality steak. Wife’s filet was good. Very expensive. 17.00 for a baked potato. Been to a lot better. Manager comped ribeye and gave me a gift certificate to try again. Will try again with gift certificate.
Service was impeccable. Friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The manager stopped by which was very nice. Food was delicious as always.
Out absolutely favorite steak place in Austin. We have tried several other famous name places and have decided that after our third visit to J Prime, that this is the best place. The service and food are incredible with lots of food options to enjoy either the same meal everytime or try something new each time.
As always it was 1000% on point! The service of course is OUTSTANDING! Shout out to Daniel, Manny, Otis AND the infamous Godfather of a General Manager Miguel!! The food is consistently DELICIOUS!! Service was excellent. We felt very well taken care of. We got the lobster bisque and the filet mignon duo and split them both since we were on a bit of a timeline. The bisque was great. Our steaks, however, were not spot on. I prefer a little less done and my Bride like a little more done. To that end, we ordered the steaks medium to split the difference. This place was so good for my first time i loved it and had a great experience for my birthday loved that they give a balloon that lights up and you get to take it home
The service was mediocre. The salads were good. My steak and potatoes were good. My daughter had a seafood pasta which she said was not good because it was very fishy. The sever didn’t even ask why she didn’t eat it. It was disappointing for such an expensive meal on a weekend trip with my daughter.
Loved J prime. The food was great. Tomahawk was perfectly cooked. Ricky was the best server, who went above and beyond and made the night great. Will definitely be coming back.
