The food was outstanding and the service perfect. And that's a good thing considering the prices 😀 J-Prime is an experience. A true delight for meat lovers with classic steakhouse food prepared perfectly. Portions are generous and they even have kid friendly options - a rarity at steakhouses.

Great food, service and beautiful interior. Music was very loud and high tempo. Overall great experience and would dine again. Oysters Rockefeller were delicious! Filet as amazing!
Was a little disappointed to be honest. The steak was a little under cooked for medium rare, no privacy as the waiters and managers hover around your table to take empty plates immediately upon finishing them, and the fully baked potato had no sour cream and no chives. Left a lot to still be desired. The service was good, but felt like a cafeteria and not a fine dining establishment. Not a fan of the open kitchen. You don’t see cooking, only food running. We prefer Deans Steakhouse. Won’t be back.
We chose J-Prime as the venue to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary because of the high ratings found on the Internet, and we weren’t disappointed. Our food was great but the service was even greater; from the hosts and hostesses to those that poured our drinks to those that cleaned our table and to our incredible waitress, Erica. We were treated like royalty by all. It was a fantastic experience and one I highly recommend.
Not only do I appreciate J Prime’s consistency in their 5 star service and elegant Austin vibe, I appreciate J Prime’s dedication to the community, their active participation in fundraiser’s and supporting local community endeavors, and the fact that Miguel - their GM is quite literally the best GM I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! J Prime cares about their clientele and welcomes them like family, and treats them like Queens and Kings!
Food and service were exceptional! We celebrated my son’s birthday and everything was intentional from the birthday balloon at the beginning of the meal to the giant slice of birthday cake and sparking candles at the end. Our server was attentive and made us feel welcomed and special. The steaks were cooked perfectly and every item we ordered was delicious. Thank you, J Prime for helping us celebrate!
Manuel is the best. And I will come back because it was amazing.
