About James Hook & Co In 1925, our Grandfather, James Hook and his three sons, Edward, James and Alfred, began trucking their daily lobster catch from Maine and Canada down to the fish piers located on Boston’s waterfront. Each day, the lobsters were sold by the Hook Family directly to the owners of Boston’s finest lobster restaurants. Was a recommended “must have” and JH&C did not disappoint. BEST lobstah roll evaaa!!! Whole lobsters, clam chowda and stuffed scallop. Was an absolutely perfect meal!

Thick creamy chowder with the right amount of everything , half a star off for slightlu my undercooked potato’s and it could use just a touch more seasoning Excellent Lobster roll. Split top griddled hot dog bun, and tons of fresh lightly dressed lobster. quarter star off for no celery, cause I like celery in my roll. But honesty almost perfect. Food truck with everything prepped makes the experience much nicer than the crowded depressing trailer, and nice tent in the summer
