Saved hundreds of $ doing this repair myself!!! JVA arrived on time in New condition with all the expected OEM labeling and in OEM box with instructions and screws. After I aligned the valve notches to the JVA orientation and the dummy switch to position matching old JVA switch, it installed with just a screwdriver, fit perfectly, and worked first try. My pool company wanted $700 to replace the actuator and clean my salt cell. I bought this JVA for $202 and the salt cell stand for $15 and did it myself for less than a third ... read more
Replaced Intermatic PE24VA I have a jandy pro series aqua link panel. Very easy to replace. It didn’t fit in as easily as the Intermatic but it was a perfect replacement, no programming needed. I watched videos and took pictures before and after…. Didn’t really need to in hindsight. Much cheaper online vs retail pool stores and they typically don’t carry these in stock.

Opened box but used it anyway I’m giving this five stars, because it is a good product and perfect replacement for a failed part on my pool system. That being said, I received what was obviously an open box and discovered that the valve was in its manual override state and wouldn’t come out of it. That is likely why the previous buyer returned it, as the valve would not automatically turn once installed- for those who don’t know about the manual override, it would appear that it was broken.
