Basically R&R installation All I did is remove the faulty switch and replaced it with the new one. The switch I replaced was on the return flow where it's either fully from the pool or fully from the SPA. Didn't have to mess with cam settings.

Great replacement for Jandy JVA 1440 Mounts into the valve with no modifications. Tricky getting is calibrated for a 45 degree transfer but I figured it out. If you have an old valve you may need some goo to prevent leaks.
Great actuator. Easy to install I noticed my pool wasn’t working correctly so after some videos & troubleshooting I discovered it was a broken actuator. Bought this and was able to install myself. Worked great!!

Very good product It is very high quality valve actuator, but unfortunately it was not what is wrong with my pool. I am keeping it as a spear one.
Direct Replacement I've had to replace two valve actuators over the years (Arizona sun kills everything) and have purchased these twice. Good value, way less expensive than at the pool $tore. Easy to install with just a screw driver. Just be careful that set the motion and the stops in the right direction and locations so that you don't create a dead head water flow (ie: water coming out of your pump or filter has no where to go) as this will cause severe damage.
