Five Stars Very easy to install and worked just as expected.
Shut off the power first Super easy to install. I learned an expensive lesson not shutting off the whole RS8 system when I switched the cabling; I blew the 24 volt transformer and had to replace it. Fortunately, it wasn't the entire control board. Anyhow, stupidity apart, this works just as well as my original JVAs, which lasted 12 years. I hope this one has the same longevity.

Very easy to install as a replacement for failed unit. I replaced a unit that failed. The installation was a breeze and it connect easily to my Jandy controller. The wire was a bit longer than I needed, but easy to manage. Had to check the internet for instructions, but they, too were easy to find.
