A Memorable Dinner Experience From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed-Alexis greeted us with a warm smile and even offered a taster of their house sparkling wine, which was a nice touch. Always a great time. Staff is friendly and welcoming! They launched a new update to their menu yesterday and the dishes and drinks do not disappoint! We had 2 low ABV martinis and a lobster and shrimp spaghetti with the new ceviche to start and it was the perfect mix of fresh and filling! We will definitely be back as joey is our go to spot in dtla!
Great food and atmosphere! Highly recommend this place for a date night
The service was so slow to come to us when we were seated. The host stand confused us a lot by calling us up when they weren’t ready for us. I wasn’t offered complimentary champagne like I usually am. I have a much better experience at the manhattan beach location.
Excellent food and experience. Our server ROBIN was outstanding. 5 stars aren’t enough to describe her beautiful, genuine , attentive, intuitive service with a smile. I’d need a constellation of stars to award her. Yes a restaurant experience goes beyond great food. It is the staff that make for a positive experience. Robin is above and beyond wonderful and made our anniversary perfect. Her suggestions were all fantastic! Thank you, Robin!
STEW IS AN ICON!!!!! We love him so much! He was so genuine from the moment we sat down. I have never had a better experience at Joey DTLA than I have had tonight! He never left us needing more and anticipated our needs!!! We love stew!!!
