I was recommended to taste the ravioli and the steak didn’t taste good at all. It also take over 30 minutes for us to receive our food! I was really disappointed! I don’t think I will come back here.
Food was overall very good. There were 6 of us and each enjoyed the plates plus appetizers. Service at this location is hit or miss. It is not consistent and on this visit it was sub par. No one working there seemed to want to be there. Not a smile from the bunch. Table were left un cleaned well after diners left. It wasn’t particularly busy and they seemed to have enough staff. It’s unfortunate. I do like the food.

Everything was slow and food came out lukewarm warm. Seemed like they needed more staff. Drinks were also slow to come out
Very different from Newport and Manhattan Beach. Also very loud crazy music. Poor service
Waiter continuously rushed us - then Cleared plates before our client was finished eating! Very poor.
I waited 40 minutes for my reserved table to be cleaned.

I’ve ate at Joey’s multiple times and have yet to receive lousy customer service but on this day it was simply horrible. We should have left but stayed as we were starving. It was truly a regrettable experience considering how much I raved about the restaurant, my friends were gravely disappointed and so was I especially because I was celebrating my birthday. I won’t be recommending this place anymore just because of the service we experienced.
