Hubby and I go to joeys quite often and don’t mind the craziness. It’s Friday in DTLA so we expect it to be loud and busy. Even with reservations, expect to wait 20-30 minutes to be seated. However, the food has gone downhill. Flavors were good. We ordered wings, sushi, gyoza, steak, shrimp, and ravioli. And every item that came out was either Luke warm or cold. Really really really loud music. I had to yell to speak to my dinner guest. Reservations were 8 pm, got seated at 8:15. The kitchen is always great it’s more the service at joeys that need improvement
Food was good server was good small portions for big prices and the aesthetic compared to other Joey locations is ran down
I will not be returning server needs more experience and better training

When she decided it was time for the check, she literally didn’t even ask us if we w... read more
Food wasn’t great, had to wait 30 minutes for our reservation. Our server was wearing plastic gloves. We don’t have a great experience. Although I did have high expectations.
Manager was rude and dismissive to me and my guest
