RecommendedHugo! I specifically planned our mini vacation around Hugo. I am obsessed with ALL baby pygmy hippos. It was sooo hot this week and I know the animals were in no mood to entertain. But it was still a wonderful experience. The zoo made sure all the animals were cool. There were big industrial fans, water hoses and mud pits for those that needed them. RecommendedI love visiting the John Ball Zoo and everything it has to offer. It's the perfect size to walk through comfortably while still offering a great variety of animals to admire. One of my favorite things to do is go around twice, especially if I didn't catch a glimpse of an animal the first time—it makes each visit feel a little different and more exciting.
