Staff is friendly, clean park, cheap pricing, lots for the kids to do. Only thing it I wish they had a rope maze for kids shorter. Lots of animals to see also.
We love John Ball Zoo! The tigers, red panda, penguins, meerkats, and bears are always a hit with the kids. The special visiting exhibit with koalas was cute too. When we have extra time we enjoy doing the ropes course.
it has changed so much over the years....well done!!
The zoo is always changing and improving. No matter how often I come to the zoo there is always new things to see. I especially enjoy the Roaring Nights. Even though some animals are already put to bed, the ones out are more active and fun to watch. John Ball Zoo never disappoints!
So many things to see and do, it will take a full day of adventure. My recommendation would be to take the vernacular to the top, and walk down to see all the exhibits. It was a great experience for us, and less walking uphill. I love all of the playgrounds, ropes course, and the petting zoo. So much to feed your child’s senses!
Lots of tubes, ropes and things to crawl on for kids. Multiple exhibits that you can touch the animals. The anteater is super cool looking!
my family and I enjoy going to the John Ball Zoo and seeing the new things that they are doing, there's always something different happening every year
It was great. We enjoyed the design of it where you walk outdoors in the "woods" but then sprinkled along the way there are a/c venues. Dad's favorite was the Tiger up close. Ezra's favorite was the red panda and Koala pandas.
Had a wonderful day at the Zoo today! Haven’t been for awhile, so was surprised at the changes. I was impressed at the cleanliness , the landscape was colorful and well cared for! The animals were mostly lying down, but that was to be expected this hot weather. I hope to return again before winter!
