John and the Cornerstone team were extremely helpful during the buying process. They were very knowledgeable about VA loans and gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision about our loan. Ashlyn always kept us up to date on the status of our loan and what was coming next. John was there to answer our questions and even went into work after hours to get us paperwork we needed for closing. I would highly recommend them if anyone is looking for a home loan (especially VA).

John Mayhue and the Cornerstone team were awesome. They didn’t try too hard to persuade me to get a certain type of loan or rush me into any decision. Instead we went through all of my options and picked the best one. Other lenders will tell you rates are just going to drop and say whatever they can to get you to go with them, but I didn’t experience this with John and cornerstone. They explained everything well and their whole team expedited the process in order for me to close at the end of the month in order to save money... read more

John was amazing to work with. He was very honest with his numbers, transparent about the process and very patient. I am an out of state investor and he treated me like a local family member, the process was efficient and timely. When the current tenant started a home remodel before the final appraisal and slowed everything down, John and his team were patient with me and my realtor. And we were able to move forward with little detours. I would highly recommend John for any home lending needs.

John went above and beyond to make my first time home buying experience as smooth as possible. There were a couple of unexpected bumps with the construction of my house but John was extremely supportive and made me feel at ease. He is very personable and is willing to assist clients in every way including non-mortgage related matters. I would highly recommend John to anyone who is in the Oklahoma City area.
