My home is aesthetically pleasing and I have had some minor warranty work completed. The beginning experience working with Ron and design team was pleasant. However, I have noticed that most of the neighborhood has experienced severe concrete cracking due to inexperienced contractors. I imagine repouring/dismantling porches must cost the company more than if they were to simply use a quality subcontractor in the first place? I'm not a subject matter expert. I submitted my warranty claim for the severe separation of concrete ... read more

If I could give Journey Homes ZERO stars I absolutely would. Their customer service is completely unprofessional and outright rude. In short, don't waste your time. There are plenty of other new homes in the area that would be worth purchasing that I'm sure you'd receive exceptional customer service, especially compared to what I received. Do yourself a favor and DON'T buy from Journey Homes!!!!

Journey sold me a brand new home on August 30. I met them there prior closing to assure the punch list of items needed done still were done. Many were not and still are not however the worst one is the fact that my entire backyard is being used as an irrigation ditch for the metro district green belt area that Journey installed. I am unable to install an air conditioning unit or even landscaping as it is a complete mudslide in all areas even where the ac adapter is located. Karl T****** and Brian the warranty manager have be... read more

Terrible workmanship in the Journey Homes. No craftmanship at all. We did not see issues on the surface but once we had the carpet pulled up so wecould have laminate flooring laid, wow, terrible work. The company that installed our floors shored up the stairs to the basement before they actually fell off. Thank goodness we hired a professional inspector before turning in our list of warranty issues. Lots of conversation with neighbors who find many hidden issues along the way. Inspectors must be deep in the pockets of *** **... read more

If I could leave zero stars I would! Terrible craftsmanship, even worse customer service! Also very concerning that they will only respond to the positive comments/reviews. DO NOT BUY A JOURNEY HOME!!!! Unless you want to spend the next years frustrated and broke because of their incompetence!

Ok home for the price. Since moving in had problems in the home and it seems that response time is slow to fix things. Also with some issues are still waiting to be fixed as Journey Home and *** ***** ******** can’t figure out who should fix the street that has sunk around the manhole cover. Asked who should I charge for the damage to my own vehicles as it is right on the street of the driveway. Which also then has water buildup and the water stands in the street. Also had concrete work done and they have to come back and fi... read more

Buyer beware. We purchased a Journey Home and have not had as many problems as most..but many nonetheless. To add, there is absolutely no excuse that Journey could come up with to justify their actions. I understand warranty policies, trust me, I do. But the quality of work is poor, absolutely poor. Also, their customer service is insanely awful. As a company, I would be embarrassed at your unethical practices and the people that you employ. In the two years that we have been there (a four year old house), our driveway has b... read more

So Journey Homes has 8 negative reviews and 24 customer complaints, with only 4 positive reviews and they get an A+ rating from the BBB? I shared my review a year ago and told the world how this company illegally cancelled my contract and kept (stole) $6000 in good faith earnest money paid by me, and my review disappeared. Not only that, empty liquor bottles found at the building site is one reason why the houses are built so poorly. Can we trust the BBB or have they been bought? Listen to reason folks. The numbers are telli... read more
