If you're looking for someone who is warm and empathetic, Dr. Irwin is not the doctor for you. I have been going to her for more than ten years primarily for medication management. Even that has become problematic. The main reason I keep going back is that I don't want to have to get used to a new doctor. Dr. Irwin is a great and thorough doctor. My wait time was minimal and the office staff is very professional.
Have been her patient for more than 15 yrs. Just love her.

I have used Dr. Irwin/Donna Bowers for several years. I never wait more than 5 or 10 mins for my appt, and I am always treated with respect by all staff members. Initially, we could not figure out the right medication for my MDD, then Donna suggested the GeneSight test, and it showed which meds work best with my genetics. I have been seeing Dr. Irwin for 9 years and she has helped me tremendously. I have never waited more than 10 minutes past my appointment time, if I come early she can usually get me in early, and she is very responsive to my needs. We did a GeneSight DNA test and I think it saved my life.
As a partner to one of Dr. Irwin' s patients I have to say she us absolutely wonderful.
Dr Irwin has taking care of me for almost 20 years. She is very compassionate about what she does and about her patients she will fight tooth and nail for them. I've always felt safe in her care and she has rescued me in a few times quite a few actually. If you're looking for a psychiatrist she's the best.
I have been seeing Dr Irwin for 10 yrs. She is always available. Over the years she has become someone I trust. I trust her judgement. She has saved my life.
