I have been a patient of Dr. Julia Irwin from 2005 until 2016 and can honestly say that she listens attentively and offers excellent advice, coping strategies, and viable steps towards handling my problems. She has basically saved my life period. In fact I was looking up her office phone number to make a new appointment when I came across this review page. I am sorry to see the negative reviews here and don't believe that those people ever really knew Dr. Irwin. I am very satisfied with the
Dr. Irwin's nurse practitioners and physician's assistants are very kind, understanding and empathetic. They helped me reach the correct diagnosis after being misdiagnosed for more than a decade by another psychiatrist. I would give 10 stars if I could.
Dr. Irwin has helped change my life. I didnt know I was suffering from PTSD but she helped put a name to it. I have seen her ever since and she always takes time to find out what my current status is and treats accordingly
My adult son is a patient of Dr. Irwin. The initial intake was thorough, and I felt she was very responsive to his issues. He usually sees Donna Bowers now, who we absolutely love. On occasion, our son has needed an emergency visit, and they provide that. Any time Dr. Irwin feels that she needs to check on him, she is sure to do so, which we truly appreciate. Dr. Irwin and Donna Bowers have helped our entire family with his issues. I highly recommend Dr. Irwin & Donna Bowers. They're a godsend!

Dr. J Irwin is a Psychiatrist in Norman, OK, who offers Psych Med Mgmt Svcs & an esketamine clinic. I have been a patient w her clinic since 2023. I just found out she's been treating me outside of approved FDA protocol for over a year. After a year, it lost its efficacy, and we started a taper onto something else.But our taper got interrupted by covid. For years, I've put up with the sour, scowling front desk staff, in order to see Donna Bowers, but today I had the pleasure of encountering office manager, Teresa. I have been dealing with constant pelvic pain for 7 months. Today it is so bad I can barely move. I called to reschedule and was told it was a $50 cancellation fee. I know I can't make it. Tried 3 different medications that did not work. Never even saw the Dr. The PA only prescribed what they get paid for. No confidence in their office. They don't care. Not good for someone with depression
I have to say Nicole is a good provider. The office manager ruins the whole psychiatry experience. It makes you want to never go back. I was told this prior to referral. They were right.

I strive to ensure all of my patients receive quality care. I have never heard a complaint regarding office staff. The office manager is located in the back of the building and does not have direct contact with pts. So I am not sure who you are complaining about. I would gladly address any issues that are brought to my attention. If your "whole office experience was ruined" based on limited interaction with office staff, i would highly recommend that you remain in therapy and treatment.
