Always a pleasure to eat at the K-BAR. Wonderful food. Always outstanding and friendly service. Bobby was our waiter and, as always did a wonderful job.
My wife and I had the filet mignon with the Yukon mashed potatoes. The steak was tender and the mashed potatoes were creamy. The meal was excellent. Bobby our waiter was great and the rest of the staff also. Best steakhouse I’ve ever ate at.
The two greatest things about our dinner were the New York steaks we had, and the amazing service we had. The younger gentleman (blond hair) was absolutely fantastic. He made us feel incredible and truly valued. He cared so much. He also anticipated every need we had. The newly remodeled restaurant was also beautiful. My steak was one of the best I've ever had.
Great steaks & service! Wish, all diners would understand/respect that Kbar is “finer” dining & not wearing baseball caps would be good! Always good, always a great time!
We are thrilled to celebrate our Anniversary at K-bar, it didn't disappoint! The food was amazing and service top notch. Highly recommend.
The remodel of the restaurant looks great and has mellowed the noise level a little. As always the food and service were superb!
We ordered the Wagyu, Elk Loin, and New York Strip. All dishes were asked to be prepared Medium and on the Rare side. The Elk Loin was cooked Well Done (as in more than dead, no juice or tenderness, and almost charred on the ends). The Wagyu was Rare. First time at this restaurant. Sauce on entree was far too salty, brussels were too crunchy. People were polite and attentive. Nice but was very loud. Elk was good but again that sauce was very salty. We will try again next time we are there. Just was not as fabulous as we had hoped.
So much potential, and better than in the past. Food as usual is great. Drinks on par. Unfortunately it's way to loud for the intimate setting they want you to have. The waiter took a long time just to take a drink order. Also the tables and seating aren't comfortable. The tables are too tall for the short benches and chairs.
